     ever since the last update my scan tool is randomly restarting, sometimes just back to the vehicle selection, sometimes the maxisys software just closes? any ideas?

     If you still have a valid update subscription than try factory reset and let it install all the missing file for android system and see if that fixes your problem and let us know.......
